Pressure Leaf Filters
Durco Filters Pressure Leaf Filters efficiently handle high-flow and batch operations with less than 2% solids. They use permanent filter leaves inside a pressure vessel, often combined with Diatomaceous Earth (DE) to improve filtration and clarity. Their design supports high flow rates, reaching up to 2 gallons per minute per square foot of filter area.
Horizontal Vessels
- Most typical configuration.
- Used when maximum surface area for filtration is required
Vertical Vessels
- Used when floor space is limited
- When flow is intermittent, horizontal leaves can be used
Nutsche Filters
- Used when the cake is the product and needs to be recovered
- Allows multiple steps including cake washing in one vessel
